The article for which this illustration was created explores the fact that a growing number of women are receiving apologies from their past abusers in the wake of the #MeToo movement. This raises questions about the worth of such apologies, the possibility of forgiveness and the ways in which society is – or isn't - helping victims heal from abuse.
